Fight Back Against Cancer this October

During the month of September we are working with our volunteers to create an online “National Family Album” with photos and stories from cancer survivors about how research has affected them.

Though we have made great progress, we must continue to fight for more funding for federal cancer research and treatment programs. The month of August presents us with a great opportunity to raise this issue with Members of Congress while they are home in their districts. This month, we will remind Congress that we are counting on them to provide the necessary resources for us to defeat cancer.

Cancer effects us all, but no one is truely powerless in the effort to end this disease. Now is your chance to Fight Back and let your voice be heard. Taking part in ACS CAN's legislative campaigns on the national, state and local level is fun

Taking part in ACS CAN's legislative campaigns on the national, state and local level is fun and easy to do. There are activities and issues that we focus on year-round, and you can help to lead our campaigns to victory.

ACS CAN works on behalf of millions of cancer patients across the country. We fight for legislation that provides critical funds to cancer research centers, and bills that make it easier for patients and their families to fight back against cancer.
