2020 Maine Session Summary
Victory in the fight against cancer requires bold new public policies that promote cancer prevention, early detection of cancer, and expand access to quality, affordable health care.
During the December holiday season, many people reflect upon the things they are thankful for and the reasons for joy in their life. Spending time with grandchildren. Walking your dog.Enjoying the great outdoors. Cancer survivors and caregivers sometimes think about the things they enjoy but might have to give up while they fight cancer. ACS CAN is working to pass quality of life legislation so that those impacted by cancer do not have to make a choice between treatment or continuing to do the things that bring fulfillmentand joy to their lives. Help show the importance of passing legislation that helpscancer patients continue to do whatever brings them joy. As we reflect this holiday season, share what you would still want to be able to do if were going through cancer treatment.
