Palliative Care Advances in the Texas House

On Tuesday, April 14, our palliative care legislation (HB 1874) received its first hearing and passed out of the House Public Health Committee unanimously on April 17.

We're grateful for the testimony of our professional and volunteer witnesses (including Day at the Capitol attendees Christi Ming from Georgetown and Lillian Villareal from Houston), as well as widespread public support from the following organizations:
