Those famous Big Easy jazz clubs just got a lot less smokey after todayÈs unanimous vote by the New Orleans City Council to prohibit smoking in the cityÈs bars and casinos.
The smoke-free bars and casinos join the cityÈs restaurants, which were already smoke-free thanks to a state law.
Our Louisiana volunteers and staff worked tirelessly with our partners, including New Orleans musicians who play in bars and casinos, to get the ban passed.
