Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
Leading health organizations including the American Lung
Association, American Heart Association, the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, and the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) stood behind New Mexico Senator Howie Morales in the Capitol Rotunda today as he announced tobacco tax legislation designed to keep cigarettes and a vast array of other tobacco products out of the hands of kids while also lowering health costs from tobacco use.
