Nanci Carney

Nanci Carney has been a volunteer with ACS CAN since 2005 and a volunteer with ACS since 2000. In 2016, she won the Sandra Labree New England Volunteer Values Award. Nanci lives in Silver Lake and is a non-profit manager and a realtor. When not volunteering with ACS Can, she also volunteers with her local Rotary Club and for the National Association of Realtors.

Why are you a cancer advocate?

I am a cancer advocate so we can finish the fight against this terrible disease!

Why is being an ACS CAN volunteer important to you?

Because if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.

What is your proudest accomplishment as an ACS CAN volunteer?

Passing the Non smoking and tanning bills at the State level and many National victories!
