Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
As we ring in the new year, ACS CAN would like to take this opportunity to thank our volunteers for their support in making 2019 a successful year. With their continued support and help from all cancer advocates, we are looking forward to making 2020 another great year!
How can you help support these priorities?
Our power to sway lawmakers comes from stories shared by advocates just like you. How have you or your loved ones been impacted by tobacco? Why do you advocate to fight back against Big Tobacco? Please take just a minute to share your story. Briefly explain why you would like your state lawmaker to end sales for all flavored tobacco products including menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars.
Check out and sign the on-line petitions on this state page. One deals with urging state lawmakers to raise the tax on all tobacco products and the other one is on restricting flavors from all tobacco products.
