Hill visits to urge Congress for more funding

A huge thank you to all of our Maryland Ambassadors who attended visits during our Annual ACS CAN Lobby Day on September 13.  

Representing the Maryland Team were Peggy Kidwell, our State Lead Ambassador, Sherry McCammon, Grassroots Manager,  Anna Renault, Valerie Saunders, Kim DuHart, Margaret Walton, Anthony Lacey, and Fred Gruskin. 

During our visits with Members, Ambassadors urged them to increase funding for cancer research, prevention and detection programs.  In addition, we asked for their support on palliative care legislation.   To learn more about these issues. Click on Campaigns tab above.
