Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
On Wednesday, November 14 the Health Care For All Coalition officially launched its Healthy Maryland Initiative tobacco tax for health care campaign and received some terrific media coverage! Check under Newswire for links to media coverage.
The Coalition, which ACS CAN is a apart of is very pleased to announce support for the dollar cigarette tax proposal from Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett (who attended the event), Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker, and Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, as well as the Maryland Association of Student Councils and the Maryland State Education Association.
