Follow-Up from WV Day at the Capitol

Huge thanks to all WV advocates that joined us for our WV ACS CAN Day at the Capitol! Your voices were heard and we thank you for helping us make impact in the fignt against cancer in WV!

If you are wondering what else you can do to help WV ACS CAN advance our legislative issues after our Day at the Capitol ,  here are a few follow-up items that you can do to help us:

1. Visit our WV ACS CAN Facebook page and post pictures from DAC and tag your  legislators in the pictures – asking them to support HB2520 and use #WVtanfreeteens

    

2. Please take action with alert posted on this page and share with RFL community, friends, family or anyone willing to help us with this issue! Share as your mission moment at your RFL meeting this week!!!

    

    

3. Send a personal email to the legislators you met with or missed on DAC and ask for their support or thank them.

1. Would you be willing to submit a press release with a picture from WV DAC to your local paper? Let me know if you are willing to do this and I can send you a template to tweak and submit.

*HB2520, the indoor tanning bill to protect minors from skin cancer , should be on Judiciary agenda this week so action is needed ASAP!

We do not anticipate movement on the preemptive smoke free issues at this time but will keep you posted with any updates.
