Cancer Adovcates particapate in Day at the Capital

On January 27, Cancer Advocates came to Annapolis for a Day at the Capital to urge their state lawmakers to:

• Defend Maryland’s smoke-free law from exemptions.
• Increase funding for tobacco control programs.
• Protect funding for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program.
• Increase the tax on cigarettes by $1 per pack and increase the tax on other tobacco products at an equivalent rate.
