We won! After a wave of emails, Facebook posts and tweets from ACS CAN volunteers, Congress agreed to renew the breast cancer research stamp. ACS CAN joined with other breast cancer organizations in support of renewing the stamp that has already raised more than $80 million for breast cancer research. Thank you to all of the ACS CAN volunteers who participated in this important, lifesaving campaign. We'd also like to thank our champions on this legislation - U.S. Senators Diane Feinstein (CA) and Michael Enzi (WY) as well as Congresswomen Jackie Speier (CA) and Cynthia Lummis (WY) for their work to get this bill passed. After months of delay and hard negotiations, Congress has finally passed a funding bill! The bill includes a small increase for cancer research and prevention programs.
