Aspen Health Stewardship Coalition Launches

ACS CAN today will join the Aspen Institute at a Washington, DC event to launch the Aspen Health Stewardship Coalition and call for smart and sustainable improvements to the US health care system.
The coalition is part of the Aspen Health Stewardship Project, a bipartisan effort to improve the health of Americans by infusing health care reform with core principles that place emphasis on common interests.ξ ACS CAN is a member of the coalition, which includes 15 organizations.
Patients, employers and providers as well as representatives from the 15 organizations will be present at the event.ξ ACS CAN President Daniel E. Smith will speak at the event.
In addition to calling for major improvements in the health care system, the coalition will release a set of principles that will provide a clear and responsible path to a healthier nation.
