ACS CAN is deeply troubled by any proposal that would make Medicaid coverage contingent on work and related administrative reporting requirements. Cancer is a complex medical condition, often forcing patients or recent survivors to stop working. So, we oppose work reporting requirements that will limit access to health insurance coverage for countless cancer patients and survivors. Rather than placing new barriers to care and increasing state bureaucracy, we urge lawmakers to spend more time improving access to affordable coverage.
