Each one tells a story

Lights of Hope bagACS CAN will host their Lights of HOPE ceremony on September 10th at the Lincoln Memorial. More than 33,000 Lights of Hope bags bearing the names of those touched by cancer will circle the reflecting pool in an experience to fight back against cancer and serve as a visual reminder to Congress that they need to do more to fight this disease.

Each of these bags tells a story. A story of a loved one, a mentor, a mother, a father, a teacher, a friend, or representing any number of important relationship in our lives. Your lawmakers are overwhelmed with numbers and statics, help share with them the story behind your Lights of Hope bag.

Tell us the story of whom you honor or remember at Lights of HOPE. Share with us a photo of your bag—from past years or one you just decorated.
