Katrina is a leader in her community and has a passion for helping others. Her purpose in life is to use her gifted talent to be a blessing to others by letting God use her. Katrina passion for living a healthy lifestyle emerged when diagnosed with Breast Cancer and used her Pain for God’s Purpose by starting her own business. Her husband is also a Prostrate Cancer survivor and was diagnosed a year before her.
Katrina is CEO and Founder of MANE - Mammograms Are Not Enough, Inc., a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization for breast cancer awareness.
Katrina serves as an ACT Lead Legislative Ambassador in her Congressional District 7 in Maryland for The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) for 4 years. Katrina is a member of American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer committee for 4 years.
Katrina is an HBCU graduate of Morgan State University with a B.S. in Mass Communications, an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Leadership and Business from Cornerstone Christian University, has a Discipleship Ministry Certificate of membership from The New Psalmist Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She resides in Baltimore Maryland with her husband Warren Shaw. She is very involved in her community and church.
