Coach's Lights of Hope
Donate to dedicate a bag in memory or honor of your loved one that has fought cancer.
Thank you to everyone that has supported my Lights of Hope. I am amazed at the outpouring of support I have recieved.
As many of you know, Lights of Hope is very important to me. When you give me a name each one of these bags is no longer just a bag, it is a life, a loved one, someone that has been touched by cancer.
Lights of Hope also supports the incredible work of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN). My team and I work to make fighting cancer a priority with our lawmakers at the national level and here in Connecticut. Later this month we will have our annual lobby day, where we will meet (virtually) with lawmakers and staff to ask them to: increase funding for cancer research and prevention, ensure that subsities that make health care more affordable are made permanent and ensure that seniors on Medicare have access to new cancer screenings without delay.
I have been a volunteer and advocate with ACS CAN for 19 years. And I am so proud of the work that we have accomplished.
