Your cancer patient, survivor, caregiver, and/or connection story: Caregiver - I lost my father to lung cancer in May 2014.
Why health equity is important to you and/or why you are a member of this group: As a Filipina-American, I've always been passionate about DEI initiatives, and I strongly believe that more needs to be done to ensure racial and ethnic minorities in the U.S. aren't disproportionately impacted by poor quality in healthcare. I have tons to learn, & I'm excited to evolve my understanding of what issues most impact my communities & define how our Caucus could help.
Personal information such as family, job, hobbies, etc.: My husband is Hondureño, my sons are 8 and 5 years old, and I work in entertainment & media technology. I love to read, practice yoga, hike, & love to experience different cultures & food through travel.
