Join Doug Hogan and Katie Rose Garden of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and the team of volunteers from across West Virginia to fight for lifesaving laws that will prevent cancer and protect survivors and their families. This year, we will focus on increasing the West Virginia Tobacco Prevention funding and improving access to care.
West Virginia has both the highest adult smoking rate and highest high school tobacco use rate in the nation, leading to disproportionate tobacco-related diseases, including cancer, which is why we need your help! Please attend this critical event! If nothing is done to reduce tobacco use in West Virginia 47,000 West Virginia kids will ultimately die prematurely from smoking. West Virginia can reduce tobacco use by investing in tobacco prevention and cessation programs, but we need your help in this effort!
Don’t miss your opportunity to make a difference in the fight against cancer and save lives; RSVP today!
