2024 Idaho Cancer Action Day

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) Idaho will host Cancer Action Day on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Idaho State Capitol. This important event will bring together volunteers and survivors from across the state to talk with lawmakers about protecting Medicaid expansion. 

Health coverage is a critical support for Idahoans and their families – those with chronic conditions, including cancer, as well as hardworking families who need regular preventative care, screenings, and treatment for all sorts. ACS CAN believes that all Idahoans deserve access to quality, affordable, health coverage, including those enrolled in Medicaid. No matter who you are, where you live, or how much you earn, our goal is to make sure that everyone across this great state can live a healthy and happy life. Where you live shouldn’t determine whether you live.

Join volunteers, activists, survivors and caregivers from across the state as we meet at the state capitol and tell lawmakers:

Idahoans want to protect access to affordable, quality health care.

• Participants will meet with their state lawmakers and/or staff.
• Training will be provided.
• No prior experience is necessary!
