Our work to protect vital cancer funding is ongoing, as are our efforts in support of strong tobacco control measures, policies that improve access to health care and improve patients' quality of life and lifesaving prevention and early detection programs. Now is the time to contact your members of Congress and ask them to make fighting cancer a national priority.

The effort to make cancer a national priority with our elected officials is not just a fight based in Washington, D.C. ACS CAN volunteers are holding events across the country to call on Congress to protect federal funding for cancer research, prevention and access to adequate health care.

Yesterday was a very exciting day at ACS CAN! We were out on the National Mall, in front of the U.S. Capitol building, filming our second-ever national TV commercial. Cancer survivors, caregivers, their families and friends joined us by the U.S.
