We are looking forward to attending the following events with you as part of the 2022 ACS CAN Leadership Summit & Lobby Day (LS&LD) – thank you for making time for us!

Listening Sessions for Volunteers - Sunday, September 11, 6:05 pm – 6:55 pm
ACS CAN is committed to ensuring everyone has a fair and just opportunity to prevent find, treat, and survive cancer. We know that cancer impacts everyone, but it doesn’t impact everyone equally, and that is why diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital in all the work we do.
Please join us for facilitated, small group discussions and share your experiences, advice, concerns, and ideas on authentic recruitment, engagement, and retention of volunteers from Hispanic/Latino and Asian and Pacific Islander communities. These sessions are intended for ACS CAN volunteers who are members of the Hispanic/Latino and Asian and Pacific Islander communities.

Connect & Chat with the Black Volunteer Caucus and the LGBTQ+ & Allies Engagement Group
Sunday, September 11, 12 pm – 5 pm (3B escalator foyer)
This is an excellent networking opportunity for you to connect with ACS CAN’s two volunteer leadership groups, the Black Volunteer Caucus (BVC) and the LGBTQ+ & Allies Engagement Group. Come and chat with BVC and Engagement Group members about the goals the groups have been working towards, upcoming activities, how you can get involved, and engagement tips for local and state efforts.
