OLYMPIA, Wash.— March 27, 2019—Today, the Washington legislature passed legislation to raise the sales age for all tobacco products including electronic cigarettes to 21. The bill now heads to Governor Jay Inslee’s desk.
OLYMPIA, Wash.—February 20, 2019—Today, the Washington House of Representatives passed House Bill 1074, sponsored by Rep. Paul Harris (R-Vancouver), that would raise the age of sale for all tobacco products including electronic cigarettes from 18 to 21.
OLYMPIA, Wash.—Washington voters passed Initiative 1634, which removes local control and eliminates the ability for local governments to pass sugary drink taxes to benefit their communities. The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network opposed this initiative.
