Why is being an ACS CAN volunteer important to you?

ACS CAN makes it easy for me to share my family & friends' cancer experience and push for change that improves the lives of Oregonians. Our stories are a powerful tool with our lawmakers and in the fight against cancer.

Why are you a cancer advocate?

I do this work for my Granny and the far too many who we lost too soon to cancer. Making my voice heard so that access to early detection improves for all and cancer research continues is important to me.

What is something unique about you and your state that you would like to share?

Oregon is full of many different types of natural regions and wonderful people who are passionate about helping their communities.
