Kate Weissman
State Lead Ambassador
Kate Weissman is a five-year Stage 2B cervical cancer survivor. She has been a part of ACS CAN, serving as the ACT Lead for Congressional District 7, since October 2018. She is dedicated to educating people about cervical cancer and tackling the issue of disparities of outcomes for people of color with cancer.
She lives in Charlestown with her husband Matt, their baby daughter Louella, and dog Giada. She is the Vice President of Integrated Project Management at a Public Relations agency, an avid food enthusiast, and a lover of books.
Dan Treacy
Vice State Lead Ambassador
Dan Treacy is a researcher driven to make an impact on people's lives both inside and outside of the lab. Making sure the innovations being created in the Greater Boston ecosystem are available to all those who need them is one of the many things that immediately drew Dan to ACS CAN in 2019. He is currently the ACT Lead in Congressional District 5.
He lives in Medford and can be found working in the yard or bingeing Food Network and HGTV.
