Today, the Alexandria City Council passed a comprehensive smoke-free law, the first of its kind in the State of Louisiana.ξ Effective January 2, 2012, 100% of bars, restaurants and other businesses in the City of Alexandria will be smoke-free.ξ Congratulations, Alexandria, LA!
