During a special election on August 25, the citizens of Skagway passed a comprehensive smoke-free ordinance that covers all workplaces including bars and clubs.ξ Due to the strong state-wide collaborative effort and the inspirational diligence of a group of Skagway volunteers, the citizens of Skagway passed theξlaw, whichξis effective immediately upon approval by the Skagway City Assembly on August 26.ξ Congratulations!
