Maine Legislature Ensures Better Quality of Life for StateŠ—Ès Cancer Patients

The Maine Legislature voted to override the veto by Governor LePage on a bill that would improve access to palliative care for those suffering from cancer and other chronic diseases. Now, those diagnosed with cancer in Maine will have the needed resources for a better quality of life during and after treatment.
