Oregon City Supports Statewide Ban on Flavored Tobacco Products
OREGON CITY, OR — Oregon City has taken a stand against flavored tobacco products by passing a resolution on Wednesday that calls for an end to their sale.
On Sunday, January 8, the Baltimore Sun ran this terrific editorial endorsing a life-saving proposal to increase the state's tax on cigars and smokeless tobacco. This tax increase will reduce the use of these deadly products by youth and raise critically needed money for to the state's tobacco control and Medicaid programs.
