Barbie Todd serves as the Assistant General Manager at Hope Lodge in Kansas City. She began her time at Hope Lodge as a volunteer in 2019 and took a position as an on-call coordinator in March of 2023. In November of 2023, she became the Assistant General Manager. As part of her role, she is responsible for coordinating volunteers.
"It is a privilege to get to share about volunteering not only with Hope Lodge but also with ACS CAN. I get the honor of welcoming and getting to know cancer patients and their caregivers daily. We have hosted Lights of Hope events the last two years. Working with the very people I advocate for and ensuring they have a safe/free place to stay during their treatments is a dream come true. They give me a voice and keep me inspired tin my advocacy for research, education, and access to care for everyone."
Barbie has been married for 28 years and has two adult sons.
