Half an hour from Manhattan, Danny Efron grew up in the charming suburbs of Westchester County, Sleepy Hollow. “It was quite a magical town and the best place on Earth to celebrate my favorite holiday, Halloween,” Danny said.

Danny’s dad was a scientist who won an Academy Award in 1972 for developing a digital printing process that revolutionized the film industry. And for the first seven years of Danny’s life, his dad worked as the vice president of Disney Imagineering.

Art was all around for young Danny. Every Sunday, Danny and his parents went to see a Broadway show (Danny’s grandmother was a songwriter for Broadway stars back in the 1930s). Every weekend, they would go to the movies. A few times a week, they would have lunch at Disneyland.

Following his parents’ footsteps, Danny is now a loving father to a son of his own, Eddie. Taking Eddie and his family to Disneyland is a memory Danny has been grateful for since his diagnosis.

Danny keeps his adventurous spirit close to heart. Danny has been to 49 of the 50 states, and his love of traveling has taken him across 25 countries.Danny Ephron and son at Relay for Life

After working in medical sales for a preventative medicine company, Danny is currently an executive recruiter in healthcare, to identify talented individuals who can benefit the industry and improve patient lives.

Alongside ACS CAN, Danny has been to Washington D.C. for Lobby Day to speak with members of Congress, talking with Senator Sinema on the Capitol steps and meeting American Cancer Society’s CEO, Dr. Karen Knudsen.

Danny shares his story in hopes of helping others and making a change for the better. Spending most of his professional career in the medical field, Danny carries his passion in advocating for health.

Through his YouTube channel, The Power of Fight, Danny is documenting his second battle with brain cancer. Danny has defeated the odds of his brain cancer diagnosis and stroke ailments to fully return to an active, Danny Efron and family at homehappy, and fulfilled life.

“I am a fighter and I refuse to let the disease define my life or defeat me,” said Danny, as an avid proponent for health, nutrition, and mediation — any and everything to care for the body and mind.

Looking ahead, Danny is excited to launch his children’s book, “How Eddie Put a Smile on the Moon,” dedicated to his son. Some of Danny’s greatest joys in life have been cherished relationships with his family.

Taking Eddie to Universal Studios, growing his YouTube channel, reentering his professional career, Danny has exciting things to come.
