Wyoming Legislature Fails to Take Meaningful Action on Health Care Access
CHEYENNE, Wyo. –– The Wyoming Legislature closed business last week having again failed to take meaningful action to address the state’s ongoing health care crisis.
“Mississippi’s legislative leadership said improving access to health care for low-income Mississippians will be on the table and at least thoroughly vetted as a solution to our state’s health care crisis. For cancer patients and survivors caught in the coverage gap, we know access to health care means comprehensive coverage for screening, medications, and life-saving treatment. The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network will continue to work with state legislators to find a Mississippi-based solution that will increase health care access and make our state healthier and more prosperous.”
