Virtual postcard writing party to help save lives from prostate cancer

Share

Join LIVE on Wednesday, December 6 at 7:30pm Eastern | 4:30pm Pacific.

Join ACS CAN's Black Volunteer Caucus and volunteers from across the country for a fun, interactive, virtual event!

At this event, you'll hear more about a bill currently being considered in Congress that would provide free prostate cancer screenings for those at high-risk for the disease. Together, we'll then write postcards to our U.S. Senators urging them to support this bill.

To be best prepared for this virtual event:

  1. Please make sure you have TWO postcards on hand. If you can, find postcards that showcase your city or town! These are often available at convenience stores and drug stores. If you're unable to get postcards, you can print two postcards at home or on any printer before the event. If you can print them on cardstock, great!
  2. Make sure you have two stamps on hand. If you don't already have any, you can buy postcard-specific stamps for $0.51 each.
  3. If you do not know the names of your two U.S. Senators, you can look them up here.
  4. Mail in your postcards by Wednesday, December 13, to the following address:
    Your Senator's name
Care of James Williams, ACS CAN
    655 15th Street NW, Suite 503
    Washington, DC 20005
