Jacqueline Beale

Jacqueline is a native of Washington, DC currently residing in Maryland.  She is a two-time 21-year breast cancer survivor, patient advocate and speaker, who uses her voice, experience, and education to further the mission of making cancer a top priority. Jacqueline is a National Ambassador Team member for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) and member of the Black Volunteer Caucus for ACS CAN. Jacqueline received the “Volunteer Award for Excellence in Advocacy” from ACS CAN in 2023 and is a co-author of a manuscript published in Cancer, an international interdisciplinary journal of the American Cancer Society, entitled, “Achieving Cancer Equity through Identification, Testing, and Screening”. 

Jacqueline has served as speaker for ACS CAN’s Lights of Hope ceremony, and moderator and speaker for the ACS CAN’s National Policy Forum on the Future of Health Care. Jacqueline was invited as Congressman Steny Hoyer’s guest at the 2019 President’s State of the Union Address for her advocacy work, has been featured on local TV, in the Washington Post and Politico, Johns Hopkins Medicine News and Publications Newsletter, Self Magazine, and Kheiron Medical Technologies. She is the founder of C2JB, partnering with organizations to further diversity in clinical trials, promote screenings and address health disparities. 

Jacqueline received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Arts in Public Administration degrees from Bowie State University (BSU) where she serves as an Adjunct Professor. She is a current doctoral student at Walden University.
