SALEM, Ore. –– On the first day of the 2025 Oregon Legislature, advocates of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network call on lawmakers to finish the job and end the sale of menthol cigarettes and all other flavored tobacco products.

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The High Roller Observation Wheel at The Linq Promenade shined teal and white on Friday night in honor of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, which is observed in January. The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) joined other local advocacy groups and cervical cancer survivors at The Linq Promenade to recognize those who have battled the disease. 

HONOLULU – A new report from the American Cancer Society (ACS) released Thursday shows cancer diagnoses are now higher in women compared to men, revealing a shift in the burden of the disease. The report highlights and presents an opportunity for Hawaii State Lawmakers to work with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) to support cancer prevention, treatment, and access to care during the 2025 legislative session.
