Meet New Jersey's State Lead Ambassador - Stephanie Chapelliquen, PhD
"Hello fellow advocates! My name is Stephanie Chapelliquen, PhD, and I have been an advocate with ACS CAN since 2011, shortly after undergoing a total thyroidectomy for an incidental finding of thyroid cancer. I hold a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from Stony Brook University, where my NIH-sponsored research focused on pancreatic cancer metastasis. I reside in West Orange, and work in Princeton as a consultant to pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech clients to help develop and commercialize new products for patients everywhere. I look forward to leading our New Jersey volunteer efforts and working with all of you."
Meet New Jersey's Vice State Lead Ambassador - Johanna Rochat
"Hello everyone! My name is Johanna Rochat, I live in Southern NJ with my husband, 4 children, and my dog. I have been an oncology nurse for 15 years and currently work in infusion for Penn Medicine in Voorhees. I volunteer with ACS CAN, and I also serve as the advocacy chair on the board of my local Oncology Nursing Society Chapter. I feel passionate about advocating for cancer patients and their families and making sure every cancer patient gets the care and resources they need to ensure the best outcomes. I look forward to my new role as Vice State Lead Volunteer."
