Fight Cancer. Make Time.

When policymakers join ACS CAN in leading the fight against cancer, you make time for people like Grace Charrier to enjoy big milestones and small moments.

Now is the time to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.

When Grace was diagnosed with breast cancer, her life changed dramatically. This year, more than 2 million people will face a life changing cancer diagnosis, with an increase in younger generations. A dedication to research, proven prevention and early detection has helped avert over 4 million cancer deaths since 1991, but there is still more work to be done. And that is where Congress comes in. When Congress prioritizes cancer research funding, prevention and access to early detection, lawmakers make time for all those impacted by cancer.

“This year, for the first time, more than 2 million people will hear the words ‘you have cancer.’ Congress must meet this pivotal moment and ensure access to innovative early cancer detection, lifesaving treatments, and ongoing advancements in cancer research by building on our nation’s fiscal commitment to ending cancer as we know it.”
