Lights of Hope is American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network's (ACS CAN) signature fundraising event. This event is dedicated to honoring those touched by cancer and those lost to the disease. Every year, the funds raised during Lights of Hope allow ACS CAN to continue advocating for cancer as a priority to lawmakers in our local community, statewide, and on a federal level. Lights of Hope is a nationwide event, where volunteers fundraise and decorate bags to display in their communities for their loved ones. Every year, we have around 65,000 bags displayed nationwide, including at our nations capital.
