Pledge to vote NO on Amendment F
Pledge to Vote No on Amendment F this November 5th!
In 2022, South Dakota voters overwhelmingly approved to expand Medicaid to ensure their family members, friends, and neighbors could get the health care they need. Since then, nearly 25,000 hard-working South Dakotans have accessed affordable health care coverage.
Unfortunately, the South Dakota legislature has chosen to undermine the will of the voters and has placed a poorly written and broad constitutional amendment on the ballot, which could impose extreme restrictions to Medicaid.
Amendment F is threatening to let cancer patients fall through the cracks if they are not able to access health care when they need it the most. Having access to health insurance is a matter of life or death for countless South Dakotans facing a cancer diagnosis. Amendment F could jeopardize a patient's ability to access treatment if they make a single mistake on a comlicated government form.
