ACS CAN's State Lead Ambassador, Amber Stevens, and AARP volunteer, Bobby Savoie, explain why affordable health insurance is still needed for our Louisiana residents. 

On June 28th, the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Council members had the opportunity to provide smoke-free air for all employees. Eight of the twelve council members chose to defer the vote on the smoke-free ordinance until August 9th, with two others choosing not to vote. Seven members of the council introduced the ordinance to expand upon the state's smoke-free law to include bars and casinos.
