Nearly 100 cancer survivors, caregivers and their families from across the state will gather in Jefferson City next week to urge lawmakers to protect young people from skin cancer and prioritize funding for cancer prevention programs.
Washington, D.C. – March 27, 2019 – A proposed rule issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) today would modernize mammography quality standards and address breast density reporting to patients and their health care providers.
Today, Gov. Tony Evers released his budget plan, which included funding for tobacco prevention and the state’s Well Woman program for breast and cervical cancer screenings, as well as a tax on e-cigarettes. He also announced his commitment to increasing access to Wisconsin’s Medicaid program.
