Repeal of Affordable Care Act Without a Meaningful Alternative Would Invalidate Critical Provisions for Patients
 

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) recently filed comments with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on the draft National Prevention Strategy developed as directed by the Affordable Care Act.

The Department of Health and Human Services issued new guidance that will give consumers more information about their health insurance plans.  Under the new rules, providers who offer limited benefit or “mini med” plans must inform consumers in user-friendly language that the plan benefits are in no way comprehensive.
